mom update...

I'm pleased to report that mom is out of the hospital and residing with my sister for at least a week. it appears that she had a small stroke. I talked to her today (for mother's day) to see how she was doing and her speech was noticably slurred. it was even worse than the day I talked to her when she was still in the hospital. luckily, it's only her ability to communicate verbally that is impaired for now. she has full mobility though she is using a cane for stability.

we'll see her in a few weeks at my nephew's wedding.
