AIDS Walk SF 2005 planning committee...

this year I signed up to be on the planning committee for our AIDS Walk team at work. this is the first time I've undertaken such an adventure, but I'm sure it will lead to lots of blogful stories. so, the first meeting invite went out this week. in the invite there was a brief agenda and a little blurb at the bottom that said "so and so has volunteered to chair the committee this year."

wait a minute. what is this jury foreman selection all over again? when did the request for leaders go out? can we, the committee, not elect our own leadership? as you can see, I'm going to have issues with this.
