one of my all-time favorite columnists wrote an article today on www.sfgate.com calling out a bunch of companies (amazon.com, yahoo, pizza hut, taco bell, fruit of the loom, etc.) for giving money to the Republican party. he noted two websites www.buyblue.org and www.chosetheblue.com where they've compiled lists of some corporations and their political contributions.

kudos to starbucks, barnes & noble, jet blue and netflix! Gap contributed mostly Democrat, though they did give some to the Reds.

we should all consume accordingly.
