rugby: bizarre illness

monday afternoon i started to develop a slight fever
it didn't really get any worse until tuesday (my birthday) afternoon
probably assisted along by the cold shower i had tuesday morning - no hot water at hotel
tuesday night i came back from dinner, took a long, hot shower and climbed in bed
after i talked to my darling husband i started to feel worse
next thing i was shaking uncontrollably while huddled under the comforter
took some advil and dozed off to sleep
i remember waking up several times during the evening either roasting or freezing
luckily, this morning i felt much better

a bug from late saturday night perhaps?
